About Shimla

  • Glen: Glen is a place of vicinity adjacent to Annandale perfect for family picnic, major point of attraction here is a high hill waterfall.
  • Chadwick Falls: Located at a walk in distance of thirty minutes from Summer Hill is Chadwick Fall a 67 Mtr waterfall, the best time to visit this place is during monsoons.
  • Prospect Hill: A fifteen minutes uphill walk from Boileauganj is Prospect Hill another place that will offer panoramic view of the Shimla Town. At the top of hill is located Kamna Devi Temple.
  • Daranghati Sanctuary: This is one of the least know wild life sanctuary located at the upper bounds of Shimla District. The century is surmounted by thick dense forest and is home to some of the rarest species of The Himalayan Kingdom.

Rahla Falls: Located at a distance of 2 km from Kothi is Rahla Falls. At this point the river Beas hurtles down from a height of 50 Mtr offering a breath taking view.
Solang Valley: Located at a distance of 13 Km is one of the most splendid valleys of Kullu district the Solang Valley. This plateau is home to adventure enthusiasts. The place is most popular for skiing and paragliding.
Rohtang Pass: Located at a distance of 51 km and at an altitude of 4,112 Mtrs above sea leavel is a mighty mirage of western Himalayas Rohtang Pass. The pass is located across the on the highway to Keylong. On one side you will find mighty glacier and on the other side a deep narrow gauge. It is a must to visit place if you are in Kullu & Manali.

  • Raghunathji Temple: The Raghunathji Temple is build was built in the early 17th century by Raja Jagat Singh and is dedicated to lord Raghunath Ji. The temple is at a distance of 1 km from Kullu.
  • Vaishno Devi: A small enshrine dedicated to goddess Vaishno is located at a distance of 4 Km.
  • Jagannathi Temple: Located at a distance of 3 Km from Kullu town is Jagannathi Temple, the temple is located at a adjoining hill offering a panoramic view of the town.
  • Bijli Mahadev Temple, The great Himalayan Wildlife Century, Manikaran, Bajeshwar Mahadev Temple, Naggar Castel and Kanawar Sanctuary are some of the other adjoining center of attractions and places to visit when you visit Kullu & Manali.

About Kangra

Kangra Valley is one of the most panoramic valleys of the lower Himalayan ranges. The Valley is surmounted by the mid range Dhauladhar. The Kangra Valley offers a wide range diversification from lush green land to mid and high range Himalayan ranges. Dharamshala the home to Tibetan Govt. in exile is also home to some of the most ancient temples like Bajreshwari Devi, Chamunda Devi, Baijnath Shiv temple and Jwala Devi ji on the country side.

Kangra shares a rich history dated back to Vedic era, the region has sustained successful invasions and the last on to invade were British – East India Company. Kangra has seen a long roar of political upheavals despite all odds the culture of Kangra continued to progress especially in art and craft.

Places to see

Dharamsala: Guarded by snow clad Dhauladhar ranges Dharamshala is a picturesque hill resort. This is one of the major towns of Kangra district surrounded by dense pine and deodar forest, countless running water streams attractive surrounding and a shining snowline, the place is youthful, energetic and peaceful. The lower Dharamshala is the prime commercial center and the upper Dharamshala is the suburb of Mcleod ganj and Forsythe ganj. Here the life is still the same as that left behind by British Era. Other places of attraction here are church of St. John and ancient temples.
Palampur: Palampur is a small little town located at a height of 1219 Mt priding over with its tea gardens. The place is blessed with year round pleasant weather and the pine scented wind blowing down from the Dhauladhar ranges. The place is being developed into a large tourist center now with a proposed ropeway and an amusement park. Apart from this the place is home to one of the finest center of learning in the region, The Agriculture University.
Saurabh Van Vihar: In order to make visitors counter face with nature, a nature park with name “Saurabh Van Vihar” has been set up here at Palampur, the park is spread over an area of 13 hectare. The park is located on bank of Neugal Khad in the laps of Dhauladhar ranges. The park was developed in memories of Lt. Saurabh Kalia, war martyr of Operation Kargil. The Park is being managed by Himachal Pradesh Forest Department.

Itinerary

Day 1Tour Starts

Pickup by cab from you boarding point i.e. either Delhi or Chandigarh, overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 2A Full Day Tour to Kufri

Located at a distance of 21 Km from Shimla, Kufri is a place for peace of mind and adventure. From Shimla we will head towards Kufri and The Green Valley, the prime center of attraction at kufri are Himalayan Wildlife Zoo, Indira Tourist Park and Kufri fun World. After spending pleasurable moments at Kufri we will head towards Wild Flower Hall. Visit to Fagu Valley is an adduct/ optional.

Day 3Shimla – Manali

The day three tour begins with a drive from Shimla to Manali, on the way you will encounter serine beauty of Mother Nature. Enroute some prime center place of attraction will be Sunder Nagar Lake and hydroelectric power generation plant on river Beas to name a few.
